Installation Steps
Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.Step 2: The ice and water dispenser should be gently extracted, if present in your model.Step 3: The refrigerator door should be opened and the screws that fasten the door basket assembly to the door should be identified.Step 4: The screws should be taken out using a Phillips screwdriver and placed aside.Step 5: The basket should be drawn directly out from the door.Step 6: The wires linking the handle to the basket assembly should be detached and the old basket (bin) should be set aside.Step 7: The new door basket assembly should be positioned in the open door. The handle wires should be reattached.Step 8: The basket assembly should be fastened to the door using the screws that were previously removed.Step 9: The ice and water dispenser should be reinserted into its original position.Step 10: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the electrical outlet to finalize the installation.
