Description

The General Electric WH11X39237 Washer Drain Pump and Filter handles the process of clearing water, and debris during the drain cycle. It operates with an inbuilt pump to pass the water in the tub to the drainage channel, and the filter part accumulates particles that might block the flow. It is located in the lower section of the interior, where it is connected to hoses, wiring and mounting points to allow fluid flow. Its activity assists in maintaining the consistent drainage system through organizing water flow.

Step1: Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply.

Step2: Remove the old pump and filter by disconnecting hoses and wiring.

Step3: Install the new pump and filter, reconnecting all hoses securely.

Step4: Secure mounting screws and reattach the access panel.

Step5: Restore power and run a test cycle to ensure proper drainage.
