Installation Steps

Step 1: The power source to the dishwasher at your household circuit breaker should be disconnected.

Step 2: After this step, the screws that hold the Grill-Vent cover in place should be identified and removed using a screwdriver.

Step 3: The Grill-Vent cover should be gently taken off from the dishwasher; then the two metal clips that hold the vent assembly to the dishwasher’s interior should be found.

Step 4: These clips should be detached utilizing needle-nosed pliers.

Step 5: Subsequently, the vent assembly should be pulled out of the dishwasher and set aside, as it will no longer be needed.

Step 6: The new Whirlpool W10259232 Grill-Vent should be inserted into the dishwasher and ensured that it is properly aligned.

Step 7: The new Grill-Vent should be fastened using the two metal clips.

Step 8: The Grill-Vent cover should be reattached and secured with the screws.

Step 9: Lastly, power to your dishwasher at the circuit breaker should be restored.

Step 10: Well done! The Whirlpool W10259232 Grill-Vent has been successfully replaced.
