Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your Whirlpool W10888592 dishwasher should be disabled. Either the unit should be unplugged or the circuit breaker in the main panel should be switched off.

Step 2: The dishwasher door should be opened and the access panel located at the bottom of the unit should be found. This panel is generally secured with 3-4 screws. The screws should be taken out and placed aside for future use.

Step 3: The drain pump assembly along with the motor should now be observed. Near the motor, the damaged wheel will be found. The wheel should be carefully detached and disposed of.

Step 4: The new wheel should be positioned onto the motor shaft, ensuring that it is aligned correctly.

Step 5: The access panel should be reattached, the screws should be inserted, and the power supply should be restored.

Step 6: The dishwasher should be operated to verify that the new wheel is functioning correctly.

It is important to note that these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be followed alongside the manufacturer's manual, if it is available.
